Jason A. Letman, MAI, CCIM
President. Jason manages all property tax consultation activities and performs commercial appraisals, investment analysis, and market analyses for Consultus Asset Valuation.
Jason has been instrumental in the valuation of a variety of commercial and residential projects. Property types analyzed include manufacturing plants; industrial R&D, warehouse, flex buildings, and vacant land; restaurants; transportation terminals; food processing and cold storage facilities; office buildings; service stations; shopping centers; department stores; breweries; and residential properties.
A lifelong resident of Colorado, Jason joined Consultus Asset Valuation in 1996, after receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds a Masters degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and is a faculty member at Kaplan Professional Schools. He teaches appraisal, pre-license and continuing education courses.
Steve Letman, CRE, MAI, SRPA, ASA, GAA
Vice President. In addition to performing appraisals and property tax consultations including sale and lease analysis and market studies, Steve is qualified as an expert in the valuation by the state boards of tax appeal in Colorado, California, Oregon, Kentucky: and the District Courts of Adams and Arapahoe Counties, Colorado.
As a consultant with the City and County of Denver and the E-470 Highway Authority, he focused on the acquisition of properties subject to condemnation. Previously, Steve held positions including Vice President and Senior Consultant for a national property tax consulting firm; Coordinator of Property Acquisition in the Land Office and Real Property Appraiser in the Assessment Division for the City and County of Denver.
Steve graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a member of the International Right-of-Way Association and The Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT).
Laura Letman
Residential Appraiser and Research Analyst. Laura joined Consultus Asset Valuation in 1998 and has assisted with a variety of commercial and residential projects including industrial, single family homes and apartments, office, retail facilities, and vacant land appraisal assignments.
Laura received her Bachelor of Science from Metro State College in Denver and has completed courses offered by the Jones Real Estate College and the Appraisal Institute.
